Call to Womanhood Program
The National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame sponsored the "Call to Womanhood & Call to Manhood" Symposium at the Hyatt Regency. High school students from all across Dekalb County including McNair High School have a private session where they can share their personal experiences and plan steps to overcome adversity. They discussed goal setting, resources & opportunities available, positive affirmations, building your character, and preparing for high level education & careers. ROYAL COURT OF ASU VISITS MCNAIR HIGH SCHOOL
On Friday, November 10th ,  the Royal Court of Alabama State University visited the seniors in Ms. Franklin & Mrs. Smith-Scott 1st Block.  Mr. Jason Etheridge, McNair Alumni is currently the Director of Student Life & wanted to make sure they spoke to our youth.

DCSD is seeking stakeholder input on their preferences and perspectives for learning models and hybrid options that the school district is considering for the reopening of schools. This feedback includes stakeholders' level of comfort with social distancing and hygiene efforts, school bus transportation, serving meals, taking temperature, access to technology and internet at home, and the use of masks at school. DCSD Families Against Domestic Violence Forum
Parents and community members, you are invited to participate in the Words Not Hands: DCSD Families Against Domestic Violence forum held on Wednesday October 10th at 7:00 PM in the Robert R. Freeman AIC Auditorium located at 1701 Mountain Industrial Boulevard, Stone Mountain, GA 30083. This forum will feature a panel discussion that will give real answers to tough questions; survivor testimonies; round table discussions; and professional resources from Student Support Services, advocacy agencies, and local shelters.
