My name is Staci Yates, and I am the Media Specialist at Ronald E. McNair High School. I was born and raised in Stone Mountain, GA. I went to Dekalb County Schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Once I graduated from Dekalb School of the Arts. I went on to attend Brenau University, where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, graduating Cum Laude. Then, I received my master's in Instructional Technology Media and Design from the University of West Georgia. My favorite thing to do is teach, read, and encourage. I have experience teaching prekindergarten, kindergarten, first, and fourth grade. Therefore, I am prepared to offer a wealth of knowledge in instructional resources, reading strategies, and books,  While still ensuring students and staff have a wonderful time learning and teaching.
