The Georgia Governor’s Honors Program (GHP) is a four-week, summer residential program hosted by Georgia Southern University. The program is geared towards gifted and talented high school students who will be rising juniors and seniors. The program offers instruction that is significantly different from the typical high school classroom and that is designed to provide students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders.
GHP is fully funded by the Georgia General Assembly and operates at no cost to participants. Students in 10th or 11th grade and enrolled in public, private, and home schools are eligible for nomination.
Students nominated to the GHP demonstrate exceptional skill, creativity, and knowledge in the area of nomination. Academic achievement and social maturity are strongly considered in the selection process; however, there is no specific numerical GPA minimum/cut off for nomination.

World Languages (French, Spanish, etc.)
